Lifewater 201: mWASH
Do you have a desire to see the global water and sanitation crisis end and see communities thrive?
Lifewater’s missional Water, Sanitation and Hygiene course, equips new international partners and staff with the skills, knowledge, and base of understanding needed to begin WASH programs. Topics include core principles of transformational development, proper hygiene and sanitation practices as well as effective behavior change techniques that bring about lasting change.
A team of 3-4 qualified volunteers will travel with 1 Lifewater staff member to Uganda to train 20 national Lifewater field staff in launching new Lifewater projects in the eastern region of Uganda.
You will be notified no later than September 18th if you have been selected for this trip.
Note: The trip cost does not include international airfare but does include all on the ground costs such as lodging, food, and transportation.

Trip Packing List
Listed here is a recommended packing list. Volunteers are asked to pack very light and limit their luggage to no more than 40lbs.
Lifewater recommends traveling with carryon luggage only.
Tracking Volunteer Time
Volunteers are asked to record all volunteer hours in preparation and execution of of the training trip. Please do not record more than 12 hours a day and submit all hours on 14dayz website before the 5th of the following month.
